Being Minion

Since the previous pre-halloween post is quite depressing, let me greet you today on halloween with a more cheerful look! So this... is a look inspired by the minions from Despicable me :)

I am supposed to wear my glasses with the round frames but I left them behind and I was in a rush, it is weekday after all so everything is rush rush rush.

Here is my gigantic leather backpack haha, there are so so many buckles and I did not buckle any in these pictures. I really really like big bags ok? They are very functional and helpful! I bought this lovely big-ass bag at a flea market in London.

Broken Doll

Happy Near Halloween guys! I know that loads of people celebrate it this weekend anyway so here is a post that might helps people get inspired for a look this coming halloween. To achieve this broken porcelain doll, the most important thing is to smoothen out, I mean really make your skin flawless and widen your eyes with every possible methods (false lashes, black eyeliner, white eyeliner)! Take out your most dolly dress and the most dolly shoes and voila! A little suggestion to improve this is to wear milk white stocking so you look significantly paler. Fake your lips too and don't forget to put ridiculous amount of blusher.

Unfortunately this year it will be on Thursday, so let's see what will come up this Thursday or next weekend!

I apologize for not giving the names of the stuff that I am wearing here because I forgot them all. These are the stuff I purchased years ago when I really love dressing as Gothic Lolita. Mainly I shop Lolita items in Shanghai.

Sorry about the messy bun though, I am trying to get some curls without heat these days, bleaching really did some serious damages to hair. I always use olive oil and coconut oil for conditioner recently, hardcore moisturizing stuff.

So glad that my brother Chris is in town, so I can ask him to take pictures teehee... Everything is so expensive now, I made this mesh panel pleated skirt that I saw in Topshop. It took a while because surely I procrastinate, a lot, but I really like how it turns out :)

Also, this Kate Spade bag made me happy, whenever I look inside my bag I will always be greeted by polkadots lining.

This big ass bag has been my mate for a short time during college. Also, during this past year of me working, it helps a lot when I need to carry a lot of stuff, files and such. I forgot the brand name, I think it was Mike Design, not sure but I bought it when I was living in Shanghai :)

Werk it.

I can't really wear anything constricting at work. Forget heels, mini skirt, or even any skirt for work attire. Mainly because my job involves loads of physical activities; climbing with ladders, supporting the weights of mannequins and in the morning before mall operational times it is hottt in there ok?

I also put my hair up often times. It is not flattering with my round face sometimes but I would rather have more breeze on my neck while I am working. So this is one of my favorite updos. It is so easy and keeps my hair out of the way, and also it last all day. Trust me it holds very well for slight violent movements hahahaha

Why no skirts? Again because sometimes I have to climb and furthermore Forever New window floors are all made of reflective surface. 

I usually wears short sleeved shirts or t-shirts and and a jacket, with long pants. You will often need jackets in the mall, the temperature difference is rather inconvenient.
