Too Formal for Casual

Hi everyone. I may have failed to mention on my last post about the late posts for these last 3 months, it is because of my new job, I started as a visual merchandiser since October, hence I need to adjust the habit to snap pictures for blogging more often.

So, it has been a funny situation here in Jakarta. Flooding started 2 days ago, because of all the raining. My neighborhood is not so lucky too, but at least the water did not enter my house. These pictures were taken last week, when there was still more sunshine. I have to thank my very good friend Yonni for these pictures.

I have always wanted to try this hairstyle called waterfall braid. It is unfortunate that my hair is now black therefore you cannot really see the braiding.

Rusty Halo

Season Greetings! Merry Christmas everyone... This post today is not exactly relating to Christmas theme, it was roughly inspired by Castiel (an angel) from Supernatural, that show that I was quite obsessed to. Anyone who watched the show will immediately understand the relation of trench coat, and an angel ;)

Summertime Sadness

It was not a very cheerful Friday. In addition to that listening to Lana Del Rey definitely did not help cheering one up. This is a semi-casual post look of me, very simple just with a shirt and skinny jeans.

I like how the ray of light peeped through the door like that.
Featuring my vintage Chloé suitcase again. What can I do I love that bag.

And.. My hair was braided.

The "Social" Gathering

Greetings! First and foremost I would like to say happy birthday again to my friend and fellow blogger Cherry!

So this is her, check out her cool blog: weirdandwicked.blogspot.com

She treat us for dinner at 'Mad for Garlic' and then we took off to Social House, hence the title. But, alas that 'social' spot was full and we took off again somewhere else.

Personally I like the decor of Social House, it is rustic with hints of vintage.

And, this is me.
Introducing my new baby, from Hush Puppies X Anna Sui collection! I love the combination of oxford shoes and striped wedges...

Euphoric Floral

Hello beautiful people! Welcome to this floral entry.

Few days after returning from my Hongkong-Macau trip. Me and my fellow blogger, Cherry and also my other friend Yonni visited a restaurant at the seaside in Jakarta.

Introducing vintage 1960s Chloé! My proud possession.

The vintage Chloe and Leather Satchel of my friend, Yonni.

New shoes I bought. Transparent plexiglas as heels balanced the girly aura of these babies.

Just a blooper picture that I like- Me, Cherry and Yonni

Travelogue- Macau

Hello again. I went to Macau and Hongkong recently...! I stayed in HardRock Hotel in City of Dreams. These are the snapshots from Macau.

On the stairs to The Venetian. The hotel was gorgeous I stayed there last time. Truly shopping paradise!

European influence is apparent because Macau was colonized by Portugal, hence the remarkable buildings here!

Here above are the ruins of St. Paulo's Church from 16th century. This is a really crowded tourist spot.

Me being a total tourist heehee. Cheers!

Asylum Chic - Alcatraz

Alcatraz is actually an island in America, a prison for the most notorious criminals which operated from 1934 until 1963. The facilities in the island varied from operating room, to xray room, and even psych ward. That island is now a tourist spot, located at San Francisco Bay. Those facilities in Alcatraz are mostly open for tourists to see!

This post contain pictures that was taken while I was still in London. I have always been interested in asylum and crazed look of people with mental illness. In fact I have a hint of pride when anyone refer to me as crazy. So here it is I present it to you, the girl from the asylum of Alcatraz.

These looks like mug shots they took of each member in an institution ;p

In relevance to the prison environment in this post I added these electrocution scenes. These two pictures I took in Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum in London. When anyone pull down that black lever under the warning sign, that figure will seem to be electrocuted for execution purpose with a very very convincing sound effects! Notice the smokes, appealing additional feature.

I found the orange psych ward shirt in Camden Market, London, in case anyone is wondering.

Special thank you for my dear beautiful friend Guni who took pictures of me, visit her lovely lovely blog at artbyguni.blogspot.com

Cheers!
