Too Formal for Casual

Hi everyone. I may have failed to mention on my last post about the late posts for these last 3 months, it is because of my new job, I started as a visual merchandiser since October, hence I need to adjust the habit to snap pictures for blogging more often.

So, it has been a funny situation here in Jakarta. Flooding started 2 days ago, because of all the raining. My neighborhood is not so lucky too, but at least the water did not enter my house. These pictures were taken last week, when there was still more sunshine. I have to thank my very good friend Yonni for these pictures.

I have always wanted to try this hairstyle called waterfall braid. It is unfortunate that my hair is now black therefore you cannot really see the braiding.

Summertime Sadness

It was not a very cheerful Friday. In addition to that listening to Lana Del Rey definitely did not help cheering one up. This is a semi-casual post look of me, very simple just with a shirt and skinny jeans.

I like how the ray of light peeped through the door like that.
Featuring my vintage Chloé suitcase again. What can I do I love that bag.

And.. My hair was braided.

What I wore:

Shirt: Zara
Skinny Jeans: Topshop
Shoes: Charles & Keith
Suitcase: Vintage 1960s Chloé

Dat Sun!

Greetings to all you amazing people out there!

When the sun comes up a blogger must do what needs to be done: taking pictures! Here are some of the pictures on that beautiful sunny day. It was not so cold anymore so I decided to take out my bow-ties jeans and show it off to the neighnorhood. I combined it with my sweatshirt and created this fun casual look.

I never actually believed that a sunny day can affect your mood in a much positive way until a while back. I have had some encounters in which I have to work super early for work. Shanghai is a very gloomy city for most of the time so I barely notice, but that time when the sun actually shines I felt much better than the rainy and shady days.
